SOLID MEAT, away slowly and badly outrun to the last three-eighths, started up fast on the inside approaching the stretch, came out in the stretch and closed strongly between horses. STARGOO, rated to the stretch, took command under a hand ride and continued well under increased pressure, but could not withstand the winner. PERFECT CHARGE drew clear while in hand, but weakened slowly in the last three-sixteenths. GUY HOTTEL bettered his position with a rush in the stretch, but hung in the late stages BLACK TIME lost much ground in the final half mile and did not keep up in the last quarter.
