Steubenville Track to Be Known as Hilltop Park GROVE CITY, Ohio, May 22.— The half-mile track at Steubenville, heretofore known at Fort Steuben, has been rechrist-ened Hilltop Park, president and general manager D. E. Cronin announced here today. Cronins organization recently assumed control of the Steubenville course and will conduct a 19-day meeting there June 13 through July 4. Cronin said that purses totaling 10,-000 will be distributed during the session and added that the Hilltop Park plant is undergoing a complete face-lifting with improvements and changes too numerous to mention. Hilltop Parks prexy said stall applications are pouring in for the meeting and advised horsemen to send requests for all stabling accommodations to Eugene W. Bury, racing secretary, Grove City, Ohio. After June 1, stall applications should be addressed to Bury at the Fort Steuben Hotel, Steubenville, Ohio.
