Rosenthal lost Solid Meat via the claiming route after the four-year-old gelding won the finale last night. Mrs. A. M. Creech took the route-runner for ,750. Jockey Alex Schlenker hastened here from Narragansett Park to see a member of his family who is ill. Sam D. Sidell, who races a string of horses in New England, flew here from Miami with his daughter, Ruth. Jake Lowenstein is training the good horse, Unchallenged, for D. W. Butler of California. Former jockey Warren Yarberry will take Genl Manager, winner of two races at this meeting, and Bitter Quill to Beulah Park. George Swain, former jockey who served as a patrol judge at Sportsmans Park, has taken over the book of jockey Freddie A. Smith. .
