Try Camera at Lingfield LINGFIELD, London, England, May 25. — Reuters. — An experiment was made with the photo-finish camera at the Ling-field races yesterday. The camera, entirely British, was placed about 20 yards before the finishing line. "It was not intended to assist the judge," explained group captain P. C. W. Laws, who conducted the experiment on behalf of The Jockey Club. He said that the pictures taken were most successful and that the camera will be tried at other meetings.
