Preparing Big Yearling Vendue HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 25.— Henry H. Knight, owner of the Almhurst Farm at Nicholasville, Ky., reports that he is preparing a large vendue of yearlings for the Saratoga sales this year. Knight will offer offspring from the sires Stagehand, Petrose, Easy Mon, Valdina Orphan, Grand Slam, Ladysman, Pharamond II., Galla-hadion, Teddys Comet, Blue Larkspur, Jacopo, Cohort and Menow. Knight was a visitor here this afternoon.
