Warn Against Possible Fire Hazard BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., May 25.— The following notice to owners and trainers appeared on the overnight entries at Belmont Park today: "There are many electrical appliances plugged into lamp sockets in the barns, which is a dangerous practice, as in some instances the wiring is not designed to carry the voltage and may burn out, causing a fire. Attention is called to such a cord discovered by Mr. Boyle track superintendent. The cord is on the blackboard in the racing secretarys office for your inspection."
