Windmill Returns to Top Form to Score at Suffolk SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 26. Mrs. T. Haskos plucky and popular mare, Windmill, demonstrated her true form when she stepped out of the gate at her best clip, ran all opposition into the ground and -then held on courageously to capture the Sudberry Purse here this afternoon. The black daughter of Quatre Bras II. Flying Wind prevailed by- a half length over Cherry Oca Stables White Wine, while Mort Stuarts Halbarail, an extreme outsider, finished with a bold rush to take the show. Windmill ran the three-quarters in 1:11, with 104 pounds up, the best part of which was the apprentice, Jimmy Hug-gins, in the saddle. The Monday crowd numbered 15,962 and the form of the horses was just about as spotty as the weather. Heavy clouds hung over the course early in the morning after yesterdays heavy downpours, and the track was deep in mud. After the workout period, however, a bright sun dried up the track and before the feature was decided it was termed "fast."
