BLUE MOIRE was quick to begin and was a prominent factor throughout, responded to urging, then disposed of DONT QUOTE ME in the final drive. The latter, fractious at the post, was away well and made a determined bid in the final furlong. GAY REVELER was well up from the beginning and hung nearing the end. OKAPI LANCER, in near pursuit of the pace from the beginning, was unable to menace the leaders. STEFAN began slowly and rushed with a rush. LUCKY AUNT had no mishap. SILVER PLATE was sent through on the inside for the stretch run and faltered. POTOMAC had no mishap. MARSEILLES raced evenly. SWIMMIN HOLE moved up fast when roused and quit. PAPER CUP had no mishap. Won easily; second and third driving PARADER jumped well and was under restraint early, moved up stoutly when urged and assumed command, then had something left at the end. COPPER BEECH, on the outside in late stages, was Sent to the inside of the winner in the final furlong. PICTURE PRINCE bobbled at several of his fences, saved ground in the final half mile, but could not menace the. leaders. PEDECHE was well up throughout and in the final quarter mile was bearing over on BRIDLESPUR. The latter was tiring at the end. SILVER RUN had early speed. NAYR was never a factor.
