Stymie, Rico Monte in Long Suburban Handicap Trials BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 26. Two leading candidates for Fridays 0,000 Suburban Handicap at Belmont Park were given extended trials over the week-end. Mrs. Ethel D. Jacobs Stymie went a handy mile and a furlong on Sunday morning, stepping the distance in 1:55, with at least 150 pounds on his back. The fractions, for the trial, which was conducted on a fast track, were :48 for four furlongs, with the mile in 1:40. Arnold Hangers hard-hitting Argentinian, Rico Monte, worked the "same distance at Belmont Park on the Sabbath, getting the nine furlongs in 1:51, under a mild drive. His fractions were: :36, :47, 1:00, 1:12, and mile in 1:38. King Ranchs Assault, who is expected to be favorite in the mile and a quarter handicap, was idle over the week-end, but is slated to be breezed tomorrow morning. r"
