SWEET VINCENT, under strong restraint to remain off the pace for a half mile, assumed command readily and won with speed in reserve. CRACKICE broke alertly, went along with the pace and finished strongly. LORD LOUIS saved ground to maintain a forward position through the stretch. HOOP JUDE weakened when put to a drive. MISS ELLA was never prominent. MY REDEMPTION lacked early speed. ONLOOKER showed nothing. JAKABLOM and PREAMBLE were outrun. BILL HOWK broke alertly and was placed under steadying restraint for a half mile, moved around the leaders and into command when roused and drew out easily. BUNTYS IMP, outrun to the final furlong, finished with a belated rush, but was unable to menace. STROLL caught tiring horses in the late stages. MIDNIGHT ROSE saved ground to be near the pace in the stretch and tired. DOT H. was unable to reach serious contention. LEFTY JIM quit. REDEAL showed nothing. SHIRLEYS PRIDE quit. HASHER showed nothing. SPACE SHIP was through after a half mile. LADY PICK-FIELD broke from the barrier, went about a furlong and broke down badly and was pulled up. Won driving; second and third the same. THIRD ACT drew clear at once, •fcirted the inner rail to protect advantage, shortened stride, but lasted over ELSAS PAL. The latter moved In closest attendance of the leader after a quarter mile, responded gamely to urging and was catching the leader. MISS COLEY finished strongly from off the. pace. ASSIMILATE raced in spots, keeping along the inside. SUPERNOVA had no mishap. EQUIDOE had speed for a quarter mile, swerved badly through the stretch and tired. BASIS, Steadied close to the leader until the stretch, gained a slight advantage when roused and was under constant urging to protect the lead. LIEUTENANT improved position gradually to contention in the stretch and finished stoutly. PERFECT BAHRAM, in hand while never far off the pace, was steered to the outside on the final turn, moved threateningly and then hung. BEST DEGREE established the pace under light restraint, laving ground on the turns then weakened. SUN BUD was unable to keep up. TIME ROLL quit after a half-mile. PORTENTUOUS showed nothing. ROYAL SCOT was outrun. BEHOLD showed nothing. DANDY FOOT was eliminated by being unready at the start, went in the air and then galloped far back of the field. GREAT SHUFFLE broke alertly and was taken back and steadied for a half mile, moved rapidly when set down, assumed command, drew clear and was in hand at the end. EASTERN FLYWAY, under stout restraint close to the pace, gained a clear lead when ready, saved ground but was no match for the winner. ARIELS MARK, outrun for five furlongs, began working his way up leaving the far turn and closed with a belated rush. MISS ELLANEOUS rushed boldly to challenge the leader on the far turn, then went evenly. ELEVEN-BOY JR. was unable to menace. GREAT ADMIRAL showed speed for a half mile and tired. MR. ENTHUSED, outrun early and racing wide, failed to make up ground with a late rally. SNEAK EASY flattened out after a brief challenge BE SWAYED was outrun. BOBBY NOVECK quit. .
