LUMENA raced evenly through the late stages without mishap. WAGEL was outrun. SISTER CORA was through early. GENE GIRL bled. ROSE BED, at home in the going, raced RUSTY LAD into defeat to assume a clear lead entering, the stretch and held sway thereafter when fully extended. PAD LOCK failed to make up appreciable ground when called upon for his best effort. HAPPY WEST, slow to begin, closed a gap in a sharp effort. RUSTY LAD, much used early, had little left. LEGS had no apparent mishap. LAURINDA lacked speed. KAR-AL-OTT was through after a half mile. VEZLARK held sway to the furlong marker under steady rating, then gradually increased the advantage when ridden out. DEAR PAT came out for the drive, was under hard urging, but was no match for the top one. SANDYS GIRL showed good speed from the outset, but failed to respond for the drive. SIRTENAYR lacked the necessary rally. INSULATION caught tiring horses. SWEET CREAM tired. MRS. P. A. began sluggishly. MANDYS FIRST quit. BURNT LOOK was never prominent. ISOMUR, a sharp factor from the beginning, took command when ready after a half mile, continued on gamely until inside the stretch and, though tiring during the concluding strides, had enough left to outfinish SOME LORD. The latter moved up menacingly on the outside inside the stretch, but under pressure could not overtake the winner. SEASONED came out to the middle of the track for the stretch run, but was not good enough. K AVENUE had no apparent excuse EASY RAY was outrun. BARGAINER and the others were completely overmatched.
