SAM joined the pace from the outside and, responding gamely to pressure, wore down FANCY-DEB and LADY WITCH in the final seventy yards. The latter raced in thefirst flight from the start in a sharp effort. FANCY-DEB gained the lead at the start, saved ground on the turns and gave way only slightly in the late stretch. RUN BELL raced evenly for the most part. ULNA was never a factor. DARLA-COLLEEN showed little. DONNA CAPRI was never-a contender. MISS M. D. weakened. FRANBERN broke rather slugaishly. JIMMYS DOLL raced in the first flight from the beginning, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and held sway over TONYS TROUBLE while fully extended. The latter moved through on the inside looming the most dangerous on the stretch turn and then hung. BRAVO weakened after being responsible for the pace into the stretch. REINSPECT had speed in spots. LITTLE RAIDER showed nothing. OLD LIMBER quit. ARTHUR ITIS was always far back. SECRET QUEST trailed. NORTH CLARK was unhurried in the first quarter, moved up along the rail while on the final turn, came around DILLIFILLY inside the furlong marker and while being strongly handled, drew clear. DILLIFILLY opened a clear lead soon after the start, but was no match for the winner in the final sixteenth. LOCHWIN raced in the first flight but lacked a rally. BRASEDA raced evenly for the most part. CORUSCATE was between horses while aldngthe backstretch and then lacked a rally when clear. OCEE was never a factor. DAINGER RING trailed. BUBBLESTREAM. raced prominently throughout and just failed to get up. BOB-ED gained the lead soon after the start, saved ground on the turns and weakened only slightly in the final drive.
