VIENNA DANCE raced in closest attendance vi the pace, rallied when straightened for the drive and was aloncr to overtake GATOR BAIT and drew out at the end. The latter assumed command at once, increased his advantage before a half mile, shortened stride in the final quarter mile and was tiring at the end. BE-GIN, a forward factor, came to the middle of the track for the drive, but lacked a rally. MISS BLUE SKY finished fastest of all on the extreme outside. IRONHEARTED failed to respond to late urging. CASES LADY was unable to better position when roused. SPRING MEETING went evenly. KAREN L. broke sluggishly and was never a factor. STAR NOW rallied mildly in the closing stages. MINSI, sluggish for three furlongs, came between horses near the end and was going stoutly. UNIZANO saved ground to better late position. MISS MIDNIGHT, roused early to move close to the pace on the outside, responded to pressure in the drive, assumed command and drew out. GOLD QUEST gained command after a quarter mile, saved ground to increase the lead into the stretch and continued on evenly after giving way. OUR JO rallied mildly coming through along the inside in the stretch. TURNER passed tiring horses. WEESFREE lacked early speed. STAR PRODUCER showed speed at the start, came over to the inside leaving the backstretch and retired in the late stages. STURDY SAPLING had speed for a half mile and retired. FREE FUN showed nothing. GELINKA raced with the leaders to the far turn, was taken up sharply when shut off and showed nothing thereafter. HERE I COME was never prominent. MELODY ANN , was outrun. PINOCCHIO, in hand and following close to the pace, assumed command when ready and maintained position under light pressure. POPPY DAY, a forward factor on the extreme outside, responded to steady urging in the late stages. PERFECT SWEEP moved up on the outside to gain a forward position after a half mile and went evenly thereafter. TO THE FRONT established the pace for seven furlongs before weakening. RESIGNED was never a serious factor. GOLDEN FIDDLE showed an even effort. ETERNE broke alertly, was taken back, moved readily along the inside to the far turn and retired steadily. The latter was forced to take up nearing the final turn, came outside and may have been best. COLD JACK moved swiftly to gain a forward position after a quarter mile, maintained position to the final turn, came out slightly and finished stoutly. LASTING TREAT broke alertly, dropped off the pace and rallied mildly when roused. BLUIE WEST rushed along the inside to take command soon after the start, dominated the pace for a half mile and remained in contention after losing the lead until the final furlong and weakened. SINGLE 0. had no mishap. ORNUM was outrun. TERRY S. retired after failing to reach the lead early. DUECE ADMIRAL showed speed for three furlongs and was taken back steadily. EVEREST saved ground to no avail. SUN BUD set the pace for seven furlongs, gave way and retired. GOLDEN GREEK was used up forcing the pace. The others were outrun.
