Richards to Resume Riding Soon Special to Daily Racing Form LONDON, England, June 7 Reuters. Sir Gordon Richards, Britains champion jockey, has still not fully recovered from his fall at the Salisbury races on May 19 but he aims to be ready to ride in the Royal Ascot meeting which begins June 15. I ; Richards said he rode at exercise over the week end but he has been advised not to resume in public for a few more days. He expects to resume riding at Leicester on June 14.
