Miz Clementine Skips Five Furlongs In One Minute Flat at Belmont Park Mark-Ye-Well, Fleet Bird 1 Also Drill; Migrator Preps For Todays Racing Debut BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 3. — Calumet Farms Miz Clementine appeared to have regained her best form on the main track here this morning, skipping five furlongs in a minute without being fully extended. She seems ready to give the famed red silks their first undivided victory of the eastern season, the ice having been broken slightly yesterday when Calumets Mims dead-heated with Hula Hula. The same stables veteran handicappers, Mark-Ye-Well and Fleet Bird worked five furlongs in company, with the former being somewhat better. Mark-Ye-Well was clocked in 1:01%, while Fleet Bird required 1:02. Greentree Stables Migrator, a highly regarded juvenile who is slated to make his debut Wednesday after being scratched last week, blew out a handy three panels in :35. George D. Wideners Nasrullah colt. Nahar. who has been troubled with a knee all of his life, but turned in a promising race in the Bahamas Stakes for his only start, despite being hit in the eye with a clod, breezed three furlongs in :37 this morning. This, at least, indicates that Burt Mulholland has his potential star in training again, something that seemed doubtful for a time. Last years sophomore filly champion, Foxcatcher Farms Parlo, gave signs of being nearly ready for her return to action when she breezed three panels in :36. There was a veritable army of horses on the track this morning, with the useful moves being almost too numerous to mention. On the Widener Course, where there was much less activity, Edward Potter, Jr.s, Battle Run stepped a handy mile in :47% and Mrs. Dorothy A. Palmers Ripingale went five furlongs in 1:01. Both are eligible to the Juvenile Stakes on May 11. Over at Aqueduct, Natasha, Who is Bel-air Studs "dark horse" for the Coaching Club American Oaks, went seven furlongs in 1:29%, just breezing. The big daughter of Nasrullah appears to be settling down, which seems to be all she needs tp emulate her dam, the brilliant Vagrancy.
