Bill Asks Illinois Board Probe SPRINGFIELD, 111., May 3.— A resolution calling for an investigation into the methods and procedures of the Illinois Racing Board may come up for house hearing in the Illinois General Assembly next week. State Representative Paul A. Ziegler D-Carmi introduced the measure, which calls for a probe into the manner in which the board handles transfer of licenses. The bill is believed to be an inquiry into the recent shift of the Balmoral Jockey Club meeting, scheduled to begirt May 16, to Washington Park following the Balmoral purchase of Lincoln Fields Race Track at Crete, 111.
