Chicago Harness Scene Shifts To Sportsmans Monday Night SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., June 4. — The Chicago area harness racing scene shifts to Sportsmans Park Monday night where the Chicago Diwns association will launch a 48-night meeting. With accommodations to seat over 11,000 people and with a purse distribution of over 00,000 being hung up, president Don Burnett and his associates in the operation of Chicago Downs are predicting the best meet in the half-milers standard-bred history. Some of the nations best harness stables, including those of Hayes Fair Acres of Du Quoin, Saunders Mills and Castleton Farms have representatives on hand for the various free-for-all features that will be presented.
