ROSINA. after racing forwardly from the start, responded when called on for the final drive and, passing MEISTER, was going away at the end. PRESS GANG began slowly and while racing far back, was cut off on the far turn and had to be taken up to come to the outside, then finished fast. MEISTER set a good pace under slight restraint and saved ground where possible, but tired in the final drive. SIR BARLEY moved up when called on. but tired badly. OURIEDA quit. AMBITION ran poorly. BELLE OF GOVANS raced fast and close up from the start and. passing VIOLADO in the stretch, won easing up. BLAZING CINCH was forced to race wide and finished resolutely. VIOLADO took a slight lead early and saved ground where possible, but tired. NON STOP made a game finish. MARION MAY was shuffled back on the last turn. SAUCE was eased back 60on after the start. The latter dropped back on the last turn, but came again and finished fast and gamely. FAIR BETH raced well and fought the finish out gamely. DUNKIRK was all over the track and was not persevered with in the last quarter. CHICLEIOHT raced into the lead, but quit badly. The others were outpaced.
