ALTENA displayed the most early speed and, while no match for the winner, held on fairly well. IKARD was never far away and showed a fair effort. FAIR TIME closed some ground. LET HER PLAY lacked early speed and was never I a dangerous contender. MORALE unseated his rider before the start and ran away one mile. LYNNEWOOD, racing in a muzzle, acted very badly at the post, unseating his rider and throwing himself when his front legs became tangled in the lead shank strap, straddled the fence twice while bucking to free himself from the shank and, after delaying the start for many minutes, was started from outside the gate, then displayed good speed for a half mile, but quit badly. RACCOON, rated close to the pace in the early running, moved forward strongly approaching the stretch turn to take command when straightened for home and had little trouble holding HOBNAIL safe. The latter was never far away and raced well in the going, but was not quite good enough. MOON ROSE displayed the most early speed and held on fairly well. DAZETTA was in close quarters soon after the start and again pocketed entering the back stretch, was forced to take up, then raced up to a contending position, but tired in the last quarter. BILL ANDY was in close quarters on the inside and tired. GABBO could not keep up. Scratched 09000 Brown Wisdom, 111. Corrected weight Bill Andy, 107. SEVENTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS. WOULD DARE, outrun by ADAMITE and LILY MAY in the first half mile, came strongly on the inside around the far turn and, although in close quarters, got through an opening on the stretch turn to take a good lead and won easily. GRAYBACK was badly outrun for a half mile, then came fast and was racing strongest of all at the end. LILY MAY, showing speed in the going, raced ADAMITE into defeat, but tired in the last eighth. ALOCHING broke well, but attempted to pull himself up after the start and, dropping back, was1 never a dangerous contender. ADAMITE was used up racing with LILY MAY and tired badly.
