WRACKELL came fast through the last quarter and outfinislied PARTISAN. The latter, far bade early, moved up with a rush entering the stretch, then tired. CABA1NIA raced evenly. SECRET LOVER, going in his best form and away fast, drew into the lead at once, was rated along in the lead and was under strong handling to hold LORD DEAN safe. The latter forced the pace from the start, closed willingly and was wearing the winner down at the end. AIR KING, well placed throughout, saved ground entering the stretch, but was unable to reach the leaders. AIRWAY, poorly ridden and kept under pressure throughout, was unable to better his position.
