Umbrian Succumbs SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 4. — Trainer Dwight Denham, who is handling the New England division of the Jerry McCarthy stable, reported that Umbrian, a five-year-old gelded son of Barred Umber — Mary Victoria, succumbed this noon following a siege of pneumonia. The McCarthy string recently arrived here from Louisville, Ky.
