. Double Brandy Considered Factor in Dixie Handicap PIMLICO, Baltimore,. Md., May 4.— Double Brandy, four-year-old son of Questionnaire and Tien Lan, owned by C. E. Tuttle, one of the Maryland Jockey Club directors, gave evidence yesterday that he is rounding to the excellent form of last season and will be a formidable factor in the Dixie Handicap here on Saturday, May 13. Despite the fact that he apparently did hot care too much for the muddy going in the mile and a sixteenth sixth event on the card, Double Brandy raced" courageously and, under a drive by Jack Robertson, was up in the concluding strides to score. Norval Schwartz, conditioner of Double Brandy, had his charge sharp for the en- gagement after the horse had finished a creditable fith in the Philadelphia Handicap at six furlongs at Havre de Grace. Six furlongs never has been Double Brandys best distance.
