Had His Mind Set MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 29. — Bridgelights initial appearance under racing colors was not to be denied at Monmouth Park last Wednesday, following the close of the eighth race. Unplaced in 1 the official standings, he refused to let that minor detail keep him out of the winners 1 circle. Returning to the unsaddling area he 1 kept right on going and could not be pulled i 1 1 1 i up until he enjoyed the privacy of the charmed area. There his rider, Herb Lindberg, finally dismounted. Bridgelight likely thinks to this moment that he won the race.
