Last Cherry was much the best, raced Glolie Runner into defeat in the first quarter and won with plenty in reserve. Electric Spark caught Globe Runner tiring from her early efforts and took second place without much effort. Globe Runner ran well to the stretch, but was all out at the end. Simplicity ran as if short. Loretta II. ran well and finished gamely. Verbosity showed a flash of early speed. Scratched 59293 Gallant Cassie, 100; SVXandA Oriflamme, 99. Margaret O. was a contender from the start, saved ground when turning for home and wore down Perfect and out-gamed her in the final stride?, Moreland riding a good and well-judged race on the winner. Perfect showed a fine turn of early speed, but too much use was made of her and she tired, but held on gamely. Owasca was close up all the way. Raining Leaves and Intrigue finished fast. Dr. Coffey showed the most early speed, but tired when challenged. Third Alarm ran well to the stretch, but quit when the final drive came. Hocus Pocus had no mishaps. The latter began slowly, as usual, but came with a rusii in the last quarter. Hickory Corners showed the most early speed and was doing his best all the way. The others were never serious contenders. Nine moved up gradually from a slow beginning and wore down his opponents in the stretch after stumbling, but had to put forth ids best efforts to win. Atwood put up a good performance, but ran out in the homestretch and was lucky to get seeond place. Kenton ran an excellent race and would have won witli a stronger finish. Triple Silver ran a good three-quarters and tired. Depends quit badly in the last furlong. Sonoma Belle finished fast. North Wind showed speed, but bolted.
