Inn Gray showed fine speed and lasted better than expected Sonnet fully ran his race and had no mishaps. Kings-walden tired in the last furlong. Susie Gregg quit badly in the final furlong. NIssa was lucky and broke Hying, flashed into an early lead and, saving ground on the turn, held command and won well in hand. Miss Kingcette lost much ground by going wide into the stretch, but hung on well in the final drive. Miss Cesarion ran well, but tired slightly near the end. Tres Joli, practically left, ran a good race, closing a big gap. Rosalia had no mishaps. Jardiniere caused a jam at the. start and was responsible for the others getting left. Pontotoc was saved from the fast pace in the early stages, moved up fast while rounding into the stretch, caught Luretta In the last furlong and came away with ease. Luretta was much used in an effort to race Lu-cullus into defeat and tired badly when called on for a final effort. Mayor Johnson began slowly and trailed hopelessly, lost much ground by going wide into the stretch, then finished fast and got up for third place in the final stride. The latter ran a good race and should have won off, but was beaten because weakly ridden at the end. Ala Russell, tired badly after going a fast half. Wnter Mirror had no mishaps. Ben Lear had a rough trip, but ran a bad race. The others were outclassed. Dolinda, away poorly, ran Into a contending position, but tired badly in the final drive. Lazell ran poorly. Legatee was away in a tangle and, being poorly ridden, had scant chance.
