Little Mike was much the best, was miti-mi for the first quarter, but went around on the outside and, catching the pacemakers at the head of the stretch, drew away and won as his rider pleased. Redondo ran a good race, but tired after racing Henry Ilentricks into submission. Little Rose ran well and finished gamely. Henry Ilentricks showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch. Tom Gilroy, with suddenly recovered sieed, drew up to the leaders when half way down the stretch and, under a strong ride, secured the verdict in the final strides. Dick Shanley also showed marked improvement, but tired after making the running. Klksino showed early speed, but tired anil was outrun badly- at the end. Miss Martha appeared to have lost her speed overnight, her race being in marked contrast to that of - the day before. French Empress can do a great deal better. Scratched 03035Malta, 10!. Ohiyesa ran a game race, was under a drive from the far turn, closed a big gap in the stretch and was wearing the winner down at the finish. Glimmer broke last, but rushed to the front and set a fast pace, succumbed to the winner, however, when caught, but was much the best of the others. Restoration easily disposed of Pinafore. Uubalyat, suddenly improved, was outrun early, but closed up ground rapidly from the head of the stretch and his rider, taking a desperate chance, came through a small opening and caught Governor Orman twenty yards from the finish and beat him out. It was a splendid ride by Foley. Governor Orman showed his usual speed, but tired when challenged. Hilarity seemed dangerous in the stretch, but tired. King Pepper ran his race. Scalplock ran far behind the leader for a half and moved up on the far turn on the outside, then gained the lead after being straightened out, but was forced to drive to the limit to beat out Dance Music. The latter was in prominent contention all the way and finished fast. Ezra was off badly and was In tight quarters all the way, being sharply cut off at the head of the stretch as he was making his run and was wearing the leaders down at the finish.
