Two Penny, lucky all the way, ran forwaruly from the start, secured the best going and. finishing gamely, got up in the final stride. Inflammable liked the going, showed good speed and appeared a certain winner In the stretch, but swerved badly and stumbled in the final strides. Reveille, well handled, was a game contender throughout and but for stumbling badly in the last few strides would have won. Plller closed a big gap and saved ground when turning into the stretch. Edith M., away well and lucky throughout, showed a liking for the going and, running gamely all the way, won with, plenty in reserve. Miss Bertha suffered from Interference and swerved badly in the last sixteenth, but finished going fast and, with better racing luck, would have won. Webber came from a long way back and got up in the final strides for third place. Delia D., much the best, was timidly ridden and repeatedly taken back when it seemed likely that she would be cut off and, with better handling, would have won and is a good mud runner. Gabble, away in a tangle, showed speed, but was excessively used In the early stages and tired in the stretch. Alvise tired badly In the last sixteenth. Nellette had no mishaps. The latter began slowly and closed a tremendous gap In the last quarter, finishing with a rush and would have won at a longer distance. Roscoo showed speed and ran a good race, although tiring in the last furlong. Princess Orna was outrun early and finished fast. Oasis, away forwardly and favored by the going, followed Nonle Lucille closely for the first half and was carried wide by the latter on the stretch turn, then stood a hard drive well, but swerved In the last sixteenth and forced Nonle Lucille over towards the inner rail and outgained her in the final strides. Nouie Lucille showed her usual high speed, but tired and tried to run out on the stretch turn. Agnes Virginia suffered from crowding and ran a fairly good race only. Lady Carol tired near tin; end. Suzanne Rocamora showed early speed and quit after going a half. Lacene suffered from interference and can do much better. Lansilown ran a fairly good race and suffered from repeated interference.
