WINDSORS SPRING MEETING A SUCCESS. Pendergast Rides Four Winners on the Closing Day Special Horse Train to Fort Erie. Delroit, Mich.. July 7. -Racing came to an end at Windsor this afternoon. The meeting has leeii a most successful one. The attendance on. the whole was large and the contests were keen. The only drawback was the poor service furnished by the Windsor Street Car Company. The racing today was of high order, the finishes being close and the lest horses in four of the races scoring victories. .Tocke.v Pendergast was in the limelight, riding four winners. This boy has improved greatly and if he can keep up his present form, will be much in demand. What was perhaps the best race of the day was the handicap for three-year-olds and upward at one mile. Benvolio, the winner, ran a splendid race. He was always a keen contender and wore down Old Slone in the iinal strides, snatching a victory right at the finish. Mose Goldblatt and jockey Aulmchon will leave fof Cincinnati tonight. Goldblatts horses will remain here until their owner decides where lie will race. Aubuehon will remain at Latonia until such a decision has been reached. A speenl train of express cars filled with horses will leave Windsor tomorrow morning for Fort Erie, arriving in the latter place in the afternoon.
