NO CHANCE FOR RACING AT DETROIT. Detroit, Mich., July 7. John Hachmeister was a visitor at Windsor during the afternoon. He denies-that his presence here has anything to do with arranging for a meeting at Grosse Pointe. Such a thing is impossible at this time owing to the vigorous war being waged on all kinds of gambling games by Prosecutor Hunt. Mr. Hachmeister says that he came here to look over the track and arrange for some needed repairs and other little things nee-essary around the plant. The track will be kept In good repair, but there will Ihi no racing there for some time to come. Mr. Hachmeister returned to Cincinnati tonight.
