DECISION IN ELM RIDGE CASE SOON. Kansas City, Mo., August 1. The bill of exceptions to the conviction of Charles Oldham for selling pools on horse racing at the Elm Ridge racetrack last spring has been accepted In the criminal court here and the case will now go to the Supreme Court of the state for final decision. Oldham contends that he did not violate the Missouri anti-pool selling law when he accepted bets at Elm Ridge track and telephoned them to Kansas City, Kas.
