Leo Bright, running to his best form and aided by a good ride, was always a forward contender and after wearing down the leaders in the stretch, won going away. My Gem, suffering from interference. came with a belated rush in the last quarter and, finishing fast, was an easy going "second. Sea Mate showed much the most early speed, but tired fast after going three-quarters. Dr." Hart closed a gap in the final furlong. Alnia Gardia, away in a tangle aiid poorly ridden, was raced into exhaustion in the first half In an effort to get into a contending position mid was tiring badly near the end. Margie, away well and showing improved form, followed Decklaw closely, responded well to urging and got up in the final seventy yards. Decklaw showed the most early speed and. setting a fast pace, seemed a certain winner in the final furlong, but tired suddenly and unexpectedly. Aline Crockett, probably best, was away poorly and in a tangle, but closed an Immense gap and finished going faster" than the leaders. Gabble ran a good race and will improve. Sea Sand was shullled back soon after the start and ran a fairly good race. Lndy Vimont had to go wide and, being poorly handled, bad scant chance. Scratched 03924JAvendow, 111. Oleroii, in close quarters lor the first half, finished going fast and ran a good nice. Search Me came from a long way back in the stretch run and went well throughout. Labor began slowly and suffered from interference and only ran a fairly good race. Dr. Burch showed the most speed to the stretch, then tired badly. Class Leader, hard ridden all the way, lacked early speed, but closed a good gap and .outgamed Frank Mc. The latter stumbled repeatedly and ran a bad race. Airship ran well, but was tiring fast in the last quarter and lasted just long enough to save third place. Early Hours saved ground when turning into the stretch and finished going fast and gamely. Mint Boy, away in a tangle, hail scant chance with" a poor send-off and closed a big gap. Collonade can do much better. Miss Anxious quit after going a half. Bullfinch, probably best, hud to go wide most of the way and. when going fastest in the stretch, was interfered with by Shining Star. The latter ran a good race and had no mishaps. Ida Davis showed the most early speed and tired after going three-quarters, but held on gamely. Docile finished going fast anil is worth remembering. Inflammable had a rough trip.
