Mollie Donohue, outpaced in the early running, came fast in ilic stretch and got up for second place right at the end. Cassandra went well, but tired at the end of strenuous pursuit of the winner. Moonshine, after trailing far in the rear to the stretch, finished witli a lielated rush under a bad ride and was easily second best. Clolsteress showed early speed, but quit badly. Novena loomed up well on the far turn and caine into the stretch with an apparently safe lead for second place, but tired suddenly and badly in the last sixteenth. Amberjack came fast after being hoielessly outpaced for seven furlongs. John McBrlde also finished well. Delmore showed much Heed In chasing the winner, but quit in the last quarter. Yada ran poorly. Davis showed a flash of early speed and quit badly and ran a very poor race.
