NOT EXPECTING HOSTILE LAWS. Lexington, Ky., November 2. Edward Corrlgan, before leaving for Chicago tonight, said that, talk or action against racing at a special session of the Louisiana legislature is idle. "The governors call," said be, "makes no mention of racing." Concerning the report that the eastern style of betting will be in vogue at the New Orleans tracks next winter, he said: "There is no necessity for such a change, and I do not believe it good practice to bid the devil good day until you meet him."-
