HOW STRODE GOT GEORGE BAILEY. Cincinnati, O., November 2. Fred Cook won quite a sum on George Bailey Friday, having a good-sized wager on him out of town. He gave the horse to J. U. Strode, with the understanding that if he was ever able to win a race Strode was to Inform him. Strode told Cook early Friday morning that the colt had a good chance- If the track was not too stiff. It began to rain again Just as the horses went to the post, and that belped the nag a good deal. ii ,
