THE ARROWED FOR LOS ANGELES. Lexington, Ky., Novemlier 2. The Arrowed, the English horse owned by Mr. McCrackcn, of Manitoba, was turned over to J. E. dishing today and will be taken to Los Angeles. Joe Hawkins look The Arrowed when he came out of the stud at Sunpy Slope farm this fall and it was his intention to race him at Oakland, but when he got to Latonia, he savaged a buggy horse and Hawkins was afraid to make the journey across the country with him. The Arrowed was sent back here from Latonia about a week ago. He has been entered in all of the long distance stakes for both meetings In California. Jim Patterson lias arrived here from New York with six yearlings belonging to "Roddy" Marshall, the Pittsburg lawyer. He will go to Los Angeles about November 20.
