OXNARD TO REDUCE HIS STUD. Henry T. Oxnard has about decided to send enough of his mares at Blue Hidge Stud in Fau-quier County, Va to the fall sales to reduce the number to not more than 100. He may send some to the Fasig-Tipton sale at Lexington, Ky., Thanksgiving week. The stallions at Blue Itidge are Islington, the sire of Kinley Mack, Mary Black and Michael III., Prince of Melbourne, Hawkswick and .olden Maxim. The bent mares are being mated to Islington, as the Isonomy s!allion is getting old and Mr. Oxnard is naturally anxious to get all the foals he can by him.
