MATCH RACE AT MEMPHIS. Memphis, Tenn., November 9. There has been a match race made here to be run at Montgomery Park tomorrow between C. R. Ellisons Sir Navarre and M. J. Shannons Brimmer, for the "Lemon Championship" of Montgomery Park. The name of the rare is derived from the fact that Ellisons ,000 colt lias been a keen disappointment to him, and Brimmer in his races has -proved a high-priced counterfeit. Much money is being wagered on the race by local sports, and a big crowd will go out to the track to see the colts run.
