NOTES OF THE TURF. E. Gaylord will offer Rubric and Sir Russell for sale at auction in the paddock at Oakland tomorrow. Jockey A. Brown has arrived at Oakland aud, if permitted, will ride this winter for J. F. Clifford. Steeplechase jockey Bernhardt has been in University Hospital at Baltimore since Wednesday, when Esquire fell with him in a race. Henry McDaniel, who lias been training the eastern stable of L. A. Cella this season, will train for R. L. Thomas at Arcadia this winter. W. and A. Adams report the following deaths: Lota, ch. f, 2, by David Tenny Lillic W., aud yearling brown filly by David Tenny Zylpha. The injury sustained by Cloten, when he broke down iu a race at Pimlico, has proved to be a bowed tendon which will probably prevent him from racing again. The two mares which Edward Corrigan sold to Howard "Oots Thursday were bred and raised by Mr. Corrigan. Dollie II. is a six-year-old bay mare by Artillery Long Glenn and Breach is a four-year-old brown filly by Brantome Heliograph. Dollie II. has raced, while Breach was never started. W. A. McKInney has left Golf Ball and Masan-iello in New York, while the remainder of the stable is to race at Oakland. Golf Ball will winter at Fred Burlews stable at Gravesend and Masan-iello will be sent to Bound Brook in charge of John Shields.
