FAIRVIEW FARM FOR SALE. The veteran turfman and breeder, Charles Reed, Is contemplating selling his Fairvlew Farm in Tennessee. It contains 1,100 acres of cultivated land, and has been a famous breeding place ever since Mr. Reed made the first and only bid when he paid 100,000 for St. Blaise at the dispersal sale of the estate of the late August Belmont seventeen years ago. Mr. Reed says if he could dispose of Fairview to some wealthy turfman he would remove to New York, as he yearns for the glare and excitement of the city after spending several years in personally managing the big farm.-
