EDWARD B. RAILEY DEAD. Lexington, Ky., December 12. Edward Bayard Railey, who was turf editor of the New York American for the past two years, died last night at the home of his father, Charles L. Railey, In Maplehurst, near this city. Mr. Railey left New York after the close of the metropolitan season, seeking relief for what he thought was sciatica, but a consultation of eminent physicians here pronounced his trouble as ostep sarcinoma of the hip: They are of the opinion that an injury Mr. Railey received in a football game a number of years ago was the ultimate cause of his death.
