COLINS DEFORMITY WILL DISAPPEAR. New York, December 12. Dr. E. W. McCully, tihe veterinary of Elmendorf Stud at Lexington, Ky., -who was called here the first of the week by James It. Keene to consult with Dr. Sheppard as to treatment for checking the incipient blood poisoning of Suffrage, examined the deformity on Collns hock while here and says it will entirely disappear before the winter is over. The leg is mow about normal, due to the constant massaging it has been given under direction of trainer Rowe ever since last spring. The colt is so intelligent that it Is a matter of pleasure for his keepers to treat him, as Colin submits sweet-temperedly to , anything required of him and appears to be fully aware that it is all done for his own good.
