OUTLAW MEETING FOR MONTREAL. Buffalo, N. Y., July 21. Agents have been here for a week or so trying to induce horsemen to ship to Montreal to take part in a meeting scheduled to begin at tiie half-mile track at Delorimer Park by two trotting horsemen, Victor LeMay and Fred Richard, beginning July 2S. The plans call for four running races, and one trotting race daily. The trotting race is to be given as a cloak for a mixed meeting. It is understood that James Milton has been engaged to do the starting. The meeting will not be recognized by the Canadian Racing Associations, which, of course, means that all who participate in it will be in bad favor. The backers of half-mile track meetings in this part of the country, are looked uion lis turf wreckers and those who participate in the enterprise will probably find themselves in bad repute with the turf organizations of the United States as well as in Canada. S. N. llolman has taken an active part in trying to induce horsemen to ship from Fort Erie to Montreal, but has met with little success.
