AFTER TAPLIN TO RIDE ABROAD. New York. July 2S. Algernon Daingerfield was in receipt by cable today of a tempting offer for jockey Taplin to ride for a prominent owner abroad. When submitted to II. G. Bedwell. the latter said that no price within reason would induce him to part with Taplin. A number of stablemen in Bedwells employ went on strike yesterday morning and a new complement of help, all colored, took their places.
