Orctna ,reen was prominent for the first three-quarters and, under urging, wore Green Seal down in the last sixteenth and then outstayed First Premium. The latter, much the best, began slowly and moved into contention after going a half, but lost the race by being taken wide into the stretch. Green Seal showed a high flight of sjieed in pacemaking and ran a good race. Tom Hayward was prominent throughout and Is rounding into his best form. The others were outclassed. Creel was restrained for the first three-quarters and followed Wool Sandals closely until well straightened out in the stretch, where he moved into tiie lead with case and won easing up. Wool Sandals showed the most early speed and set a steady pace, but tired near the end and had to be hard ridden to outstay The Minks. Rounder was almost thrown at the half-mile post and would have been much closer up hut for. the mishap. Billiard Bali set the early pace, but quit after going five furlongs. Mystilier, probably best, was taken all over the track and probably was unlucky to lose. Sabado was well up for three-quarters. Occidental was knocked back at the three-quarters post.
