V EIGHT RACES FOR WINDSOR CLOSING. Detroit. Mich., August 20. The summer meeting of -the Windsor Racing Association will come to a close tomorrow in the .proverbial blaze of glory. Eight races, calling for a distribution of ,550. have been carded, with the Detroit. Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Company Handicap as the principal feature. The meeting has been a signal success from every standtioint. Between the closing at Windsor tomorrow and the opening of the Fort Erie fall meeting next Thursday, there will be no racing in eastern Canada.
