FASHION PLATE GETTING REST. Saratoga. X. Y.. August 20. William Karrick is giving Fashion Plate a rest here to allow the AVoolsthorpe colt to recuperate after his hard campaign at Slieepshead Bay. Gravesend and Empire City. Fashion Plate is- picking up under his rest. He may start a time or two toward the end of the meeting, but Karrick does not expect much from lilui until he, gets back to Slieepshead Bay.
