BREAKING THE THOMAS YEARLINGS, New York, September 7. Henry McDaniel has ceased to lie a trainer of race horses and has become a breaker of yearlings. The mature campaigners of It. L. Thomas establishment are so fagged out that McDaniel has given up trying to do anything with them. He is devoting almost all his attention to the eighteen juveniles, that will not be ready to race until after January 1. McDaniel gave an average price of ,000 per head for eighteen colts and fillies for Thomas. He is confident that there are one or two cracks in the lot.
