JAMES MCORMICKS GERMAN SUCCESSES. James MeCormiek, of Alcedo and Hermis fame, is the leading winning trainer in Germany. Up to date he has won nearlv 00,000 with the horses of Baron Oppenhelm and other German sportsmen. With a horse called For Ever he won the Hamburg. Prize, worth 100.000 marks, and the Berlin Prize of 74,000 marks. Willie Shaw rode the winner in both races. At Baden-Baden, between the Sundays. August 22 and August 29, MeCormiek cut loose old Tileling and won three races with him, all over the "about nine furlongs" course. Shaw rode Tileling in the first race and the Germans laid 2S to 1 against him. In the second,- with the English boy.
