CHANLER STUD GOES TO FRANCE. New York. September 7. William Astor Chanler apparently has developed a desire to race in France. He will at once transfer to the European Republic his entire stud, which is now domiciled at Walter Jennings old farm in Loudoun County, Virginia, near the town of Leesbnrg. Mr. Chanters stud consists of the Domino Belle of May wood stallion. Olympian, and thirteen mares. One of the mares is Salama. a daughter of Hiinyar and dam of no less distinguished a racer than Waldo. Mr. Chanter purchased Salama last year for a mere song before anybody know anything about Waldo. Olvmpian is one of the best-looking stallions of the family of Domino in America. He was a two-year-old with Commando, Cap and Bells, Conroy and Tommy Atkins, and he acquired some distinction by being placed in the Futurity. But, notwithstanding lie was a brother to Tenny, Olymnian never became a great race horse. Mr. Chanler apparently thinks that he will breed on. Olympian stood a season at Dr. James Kerrs Stud in Virginia before Mr. Chanler established him in Loudoun County, and there will be some two-year-olds by him out next season.
