SANFORD HORSES REACH NEW .YORK. New York, September 7. Twentv-two horses of vnrious ages belonging to General Stephen Sanford. of Amsterdam, have arrived from Saratoga. They are destined for the sales ring at Sheepshead Bay Thursday General Sanford does not apparently intend to race any horses hereabouts this fall. II. II. Hyner. the man who developed his string and took It to Saratoga, has given tip his job and no one lias been appointed to succeed him. The good two-year-olds. Herkimer and Baron Dieskau. are not in the lot General Sanford has consigned to the Fasig-TIpton Company. General Sanford has decided to keep them for next season on the theory that they will make good as three-year-olds. Danoscara Ik not to be sold, of course. She is one of the best bred mares General Sanford owns and she is destined for service at Hurricana Stud.
